Nestled in the picturesque area of Palaiokastro, Villa Nikos is a beautifully appointed three-bedroom villa with a capacity to accommodate up to six guests. Boasting a spacious 200 sqm interior, this fully equipped and comfortable villa offers stunning views of the surrounding area and the sea. Located just a short drive from the capital town of Crete , Heraklion, the villa provides the perfect blend of serene village charm and easy access to the local beach and taverns which are within a fifteen minutes walk .Heraklion international Airport is a convenient eighteen km from the property, making Villa Nikos a great base for exploring the island.
Entering the villa on the ground floor there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen and an airy, sunlit open-plan living space. The cozy living room is equipped with a comfortable seating area with a TV set, a dining table for six and the fully equipped modern kitchen invites you to prepare and enjoy traditional Cretan meals. The kitchen is outfitted with all essentials, including an electric stove, refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, and more. Sliding glass doors connect the living space to the large veranda with an outside dining table and the pool area seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. Furthermore on this level there is a WC.
Ascending to the first floor there is a large master bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower/WC , opening to a beautiful balcony with great views and two more twin bedrooms (each with two single beds) with balconies , sharing a shower/WC. All bedrooms are airconditioned and have a TV. At the lowest level of the villa there is a spacious room with small gym and an extra shower/WC.
Villa Nikos has a nice spacious outdoor area .The private 21 sqm swimming pool, with a depth of 1.50 m, is the centerpiece of the terrace. Guests can enjoy sun loungers and umbrellas, the barbecue area and outdoor dining table for up to six make alfresco dining under the stars an unforgettable experience. A gated entrance and on-site parking enhance privacy and security.
Villa Nikos location offers a unique blend of tranquility and convenience. Daily amenities and sandy beaches are just a short walk away, while the villa’s proximity to Heraklion City provides easy access to vibrant nightlife, historic sites, and family-friendly attractions. Tja, was soll man über einen Service sagen, der praktisch nicht vorhanden war? Bei Ankunft gab es drei Rollen Klopapier für vier Personen – für einen Aufenthalt von zehn Tagen! Zwei kleine Küchentücher zum Abtrocknen des Geschirrs, und das war’s dann auch. Kein weiterer Service, kein Austausch von Handtüchern, keine Reinigung, nichts.
Sauberkeit und Wartung Beim Einzug war die Villa sauber und aufgeräumt – das war erfreulich. Aber während des gesamten Aufenthalts (10 Tage, 4 Erwachsene, 3 Kinder) gab es keine frischen Handtücher oder sonstige Reinigung. Das ist bei dem Preis absolut enttäuschend. Wasserprobleme – jeden Tag! Täglich (!) Probleme mit der Wasserversorgung. Mal gab es kein warmes Wasser, mal gar kein Wasser. Auf Nachfrage beim Vermieter – Schulterzucken. Hilfe? Fehlanzeige. Elektrogeräte = Schrott Wasserkocher: Deckel schließt nicht richtig Toaster: Verbrennt alles, egal auf welcher Stufe Backofen: Beim Versuch, einen Kuchen zu backen, war nach 10 Minuten die ganze Küche voller Rauch – Kuchen verkohlt Waschmaschine: Laut wie ein Presslufthammer, besonders abends Staubsauger: Wahrscheinlich älter als das Haus selbst, mit vollem, nie gewechseltem Beutel Pool & Ausstattung Pool war eiskalt – kälter als das Meer. Für die Kleinkinder war das eine Riesenenttäuschung. Geschirr und Besteck: Viel zu wenig. Die Villa ist für 6 Personen ausgelegt, aber es gibt nicht mal genug Teller oder Besteck, um gemeinsam zu essen. Allgemeiner Eindruck: Vieles wirkt zusammengewürfelt |

Please allow us to address them: Housekeeping & Supplies: The villa includes a standard service of cleaning every few days and initial supplies upon arrival. We encourage guests to contact usour staff during their stay if they require additional towelscleaning, so we can arrange it promptly. Water Supply: We regret the problems with the water supply and understand how disruptive this must have been. We are already coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure this is resolved for future guests. Appliances: We take your comments seriously regarding the kettle, toaster, oven, washing machine, and vacuum cleaner. Maintenance has been informed to check and replacerepair the affected appliances where needed. Pool & Amenities: We apologize if the pool temperature was not ideal for your needs. The pool is not heated, and temperature may vary depending on the season. We greatly value your feedback as it helps us improve our service and facilities.
