Helianthos villa is part of a complex of three independent houses, each tastefully decorated and featuring a charming terrace encircling the villas, along with a generously sized shared swimming pool. Nestled in the serene and picturesque village of Douliana, this traditionally preserved village offers hidden corners and a peaceful ambiance. Situated in the heart of the Apokoronas valley, amid the stunning White Mountains, it is one of the most picturesque and beautiful areas on the island of Crete.
The villa comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests and boasts spacious balconies with unobstructed views of the Apokoronas Valley, as well as a generous sunny terrace. Inside, you'll find traditional furnishings, including a cozy seating and dining room with a fireplace, a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen, and a small WC. Wooden steps lead to the second level, featuring a double bedroom and a mezzanine with two single beds accessible via removable wooden stairs. There's also a well-appointed bathroom with a bathtub and a large veranda offering wonderful views of the White Mountains.
In addition to the villa, you'll have access to a large shared swimming pool, a garden, and numerous shaded areas that are fully furnished for your relaxation. The lively village of Vamos is just 2 km away, and Douliana village, with its cozy square housing a local cafe, a mini-market, and a charming taverna, is a welcoming place with just 40 houses in total.
Within a 10 km drive, you can reach the beautiful beaches of Almirida, Kalives, Kiani Akti, and Ombrogialos. Local amenities are easily accessible, with a mini-market just 10 meters away, a bakery at 300 meters, and several taverns and traditional cafes at 400 meters.

This was the second time we visited Helianthos Villas and we really enjoy the comfort, shared pool (which became a private pool), scenery and the tranquility.
