Most of the way is on paved roads until you reach Kaliviani village. From there, the last stretch of about 8 kilometres is on an unpaved dirt road that runs along the edge of the Gramvousa Peninsula. The views are stunning along this route, but we must warn you the road is bumpy and narrow in places. We suggest only driving if you are comfortable and confident to take this way.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There is a parking lot located at the entrance of the lagoon, with a small fee of about \u20ac1 per car. Once you leave your car, you need to hike 20-30 minutes downhill to the lagoon. Make sure to wear proper shoes and bring water, especially during the hot summer months.
